With the BC Multiplexer USB you can safely and reliably expand the number of NMEA 0183 inputs and outputs.
The NMEA Modules that we apply in the multiplexer are equipped with so-called galvanically and optically separated differential inputs and outputs.
These ensure the highest possible protection of your devices (against peak voltages, for example) and the most reliable connection.
The BC Multiplexer USB is modular which makes it possible to place 4 NMEA In and 4 NMEA OUT modules. You also have 2 extra USB ports for further expansion.
As standard, there is 1 NMEA IN Module found in the multiplexer, the NMEA IN Modules cost € 9.50 a piece. The NMEA OUT Modules are priced at € 19.50 apiece.
This makes it much easier to expand later on.

Monday 22 May 2017 “Our original Navigation system could not be repaired (1995) anymore and this system was reasonable ahead of its time with GPS/Navigation computer/Pilot controller and Radar all couples with NMEA0183.
Solution BoatController including Multiplexer now seves as one NMEA hub together with EM-TRAK AIS/GPS and this way, we have managed to get everything working again with a PC that has openCPN navigation software.
This will last us for years to come at a fraction of the investment it would have cost for a new set.
Installation can easily be done, and responses from Onno were really quick, so, in short, we really recommend it.

In 2016 een BoatController gekocht met multiplexer om draadloos de raymarine instrumenten en AIS uit te lezen. Het programma NavMon PC gebruiken wij om terug te kijken wat onze zeilprestaties zijn ten opzichte van de windcondities. Door de veelvoud aan mogelijkheden en de keurige en snelle service werkt alles naar wens!
